Membership Info

At Tom’s Creek Hunting Club, membership means more than a place to hunt. It means helping care for the land, pitching in around camp, and sharing good meals and good company with people who love the outdoors. We’re building a place where families feel welcome and deer and other wildlife can thrive.

Membership Dues

New membership dues are currently $1,500, and members must complete four mandatory workdays each year.

  • Workdays are defined as participation in club projects and maintenance as outlined in the bylaws.
  • Members must pay their dues and complete the required workdays each year.

Member Benefits

Membership provides year-round access to club property, including full access to hunt during deer and turkey seasons. In the off-season, members can enjoy four-wheeler riding and other outdoor recreation, subject to the Membership Bylaws.

Good habitat takes a team

Each member is responsible for at least one food plot. That shared responsibility gives everyone a role in improving the property for deer and other wildlife. We have two trusty old tractors, and food-plot work often becomes a team effort.

The same spirit carries over into our workdays. We work together on club projects, maintenance, and improvements around the campground. It’s a chance to get to know one another, share skills, and help make camp a place we’re proud to share with our families.

Four mandatory workdays are part of the annual membership commitment. See the Membership Bylaws for the full workday requirements.

A camp worth coming back to

There’s a bunkhouse, a brand-new clubhouse, and even a cute little outhouse. Our fully equipped outdoor kitchen has a smoker, a large griddle, and a charcoal grill—plenty of ways to feed a hungry crew.

We enjoy big group dinners as often as we can. Whether it’s after a workday or a day in the woods, gathering around a meal is a big part of what makes TCHC feel like a community.

Several members pay an additional camper fee to keep a camper on the club grounds. Camper fees are separate from membership dues; ask about the current fee and arrangements when discussing membership.

Membership questions

What does a new membership cost?

New membership dues are currently $1,500, and members must complete four mandatory workdays each year. Camper fees, if applicable, are additional.

What is expected of me beyond paying dues?

Members pitch in on club projects and camp improvements, complete the required workdays, and take responsibility for at least one food plot. We work together to keep the camp welcoming and improve habitat for deer and other wildlife.

Do I have to manage a food plot on my own?

Each member is responsible for at least one food plot, but taking responsibility doesn’t mean doing everything alone. Members work together, using the club’s two tractors to help with food-plot work.

Can I use the property outside hunting season?

Yes. Membership provides year-round access for legal activities, subject to the property-use restrictions in the Membership Bylaws.

Can my family enjoy the club too?

Yes—TCHC is a family-friendly club. The published bylaws allow spouses and children under 18 to use the property at no extra cost, with a full-time-student exception up to age 21. Please review the Membership Bylaws for the complete family and guest rules.

What facilities are at camp?

Camp has a bunkhouse, a brand-new clubhouse, an outhouse, and an outdoor kitchen equipped with a smoker, large griddle, and charcoal grill. Group dinners are part of club life whenever we can get everyone together.

Can I keep a camper at the club?

Several members keep campers on the grounds for an additional camper fee. The Board assesses the camper fee annually. Ask about current arrangements and fees before making plans; see the Membership Bylaws for the camper-fee provisions.
